Most computer problems occur because something in the computer has recently changed. You may not be able to easily undo the effects of a power failure or spilling coffee on your keyboard, but if you've recently installed software, try uninstalling it. Most software can be easily uninstalled from Windows XP using Add Or Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
1 Click the program listing under Start | All Programs. Right-click the program you want to uninstall. If an Uninstall option is offered, use it (see Figure 1).

If there is no Uninstall option, go to Start | Control Panel and select Add Or Remove Programs (see Figure 2).
